The idea of creating a brand “VABIEN” came about at the time when the situation in Ukraine was definitely unstable. At the end of 2014 the eastern part of the war had broken out. People thought about how to survive rather than open a new business. The founders of the brand - young Ukrainians Sergei Matsenko and Nikita Tsarenko, who were 23 and 21 years old at that time, had begun the story.
"The first scratches were developed in the city of Kharkov in a one-bedroom apartment. The cutting table was half of a tennis table, where the fabrics were cut. We had this fanaticism in blood and nothing more. We didn’t have time for professional education. Without any knowledge of how to sew, we started to create."
Sergei: As a teenager he was engaged with music. Later on he became interested in video production and producing. He still develops this business.
Nikita: His main passion has always been photography. Nikita went through the progression from hobby to professional. Once his desired position had been reached he got into the finance field.
"We have chosen not the easiest way to start - Switzerland. But as time has shown us – the challenges only give a push to the best. Our position in the market is a European brand, but made in Ukraine."
Less than a year after launch, VABIEN became a partner of the largest and most fashionable chain of department stores in Switzerland - «GLOBUS». Additionally, it cooperates with a chain of shops in Italy. At the end of 2016 the brand had released a number of bow tie shapes, which had taken a leading position in the market among competitors casino en ligne francais.
"We’ve initially created the perfect package - a wooden box - from VABIEN. The material used is a twenty-year-old oak. The box is handcrafted, assembled and treated by skilled artisans. We could say that this box is a gimmick of our brand. We’re aimed to make mood products. The bow ties - rebelliousness. The way to express your individuality."
